I have pain in the area where I had double hernia surgery approximately 8 years ago, when they repaired my stomach with mesh. Is it possible that I would have a problem now?


Yes. I have seen patients who were asymptomatic for 20 years then reject the mesh and develope disabiling severe chronic mesh pain.
