Mesh tear repair
A mesh tear is sometimes attributed as the cause of mesh pain. Mesh tears do occur but they are very rave. They happen with large pieces of light weight mesh. This is not a significant cause of mesh pain. If you are having mesh pain the most likely cause of your pain is the chronic inflammation that mesh incites. Don't go back to surgery to mess with the mesh. It will not help the pain and can make matters worse. Have the mesh removed instead.
